Nathan is at Airborne School

Nathan left from Ft. Bragg this morning for Ft. Benning for jump school. I am feeling a mixture of pride and anxiety. I am nervous for him! I would love to hear from someone who knows what to expect or what he will be doing there. Is it scary or difficult?

Fort Jackson Basic Training

My daughter left for basic training on 10/20/09. She originally was sent to Ft.leonardWood in Missouri however, due to overbooking she was transferred to Fort Jackson, South Carolina. I am guessing the soldiers don't have a BCT graduation if they are in an OSUT troop. Is this what family weekend is about? It seems to fall about the time the others troops would be having graduation from BCT.
